Seminoe Reservoir Wyoming
Seminoe Reservoir is located on the North Platte River above the Seminoe Dam. This reservoir offers some great fishing, particularly
in June and July, for both trout and walleye. Both species inhabit the entire reservoir though there are areas of greater concentration
for each. Wyoming state record walleye have been pulled from Seminoe in years past.
Seminoe Reservoir is located within the Seminoe State Park and thus there is little to no property available on the reservoir
itself. This is a great recreation area that offers 3 campgrounds and 3 public boat launches. Fishing in this reservoir includes
walleye, brown trout, rainbow trout, and cutthroat trout.
Directions: Seminoe Reservoir is located 72 miles southwest of Casper WY and 38 miles north of the town of Sinclair, in Carbon
County. Access to the reservoir from I-80 is via Carbon County Rd. 351 or from U.S. 220 via Natrona County Hwy. 407 and Carbon
County Roads
291 and 351.
